Two Sensational Shows!! Brides, grooms and guests enjoyed a fabulous day traveling from The Weber's Inn to The Polo Fields Golf and Country Club by means of Trolley compliments of Tecumseh Trolley. Fashion shows took place on stage every hour and prizes were given away every 15 minutes at each location. Over 12 Table Top Designs to gather ideas from between both locations. Special thanks to all of our great vendors that participated at both these shows!

The Community House 2010

September 20, 2009 Infinity & Ovation Yachts Wedding Event Show

The weather was sunny and perfect for our day aboard the Infinity and Ovation Yachts. Each guest was greeted by a member of the yachts with a complimentary picture taken dockside. Once aboard each guest received a glass of champagne, enjoyed strolling hors d’oeuvres on the Infinity and cake by the slice on board the Ovation. There was a live jazz band on the back deck compliments of Panache Entertainment as well as strolling bridal fashions from Bonnie Daws, Sposa Bella and President Tuxedo of Warren and Birmingham. Prizes given away every half-an-hour and tons of vendors to speak with on each boat. Images compliments of Bella Uno Photography.

Saturday February 21, 2009 was a snow day in Metro Detroit. But that did not stop brides from attending the Whimsical Occasions Wedding Event Show at the Community House in Birmingham. Blaine Seisser was the featured photographer for the event and he did a great job capturing the day. He even offered every bride & groom who attended the Wedding Event Show at FREE engagement portrait.

The images have finally arrived from Jackie Blair Photography, the exclusive photographer at the September 28, 2008 Wedding Event Show held at Meadow Brook Hall & Gardens. I must say that they were definitely worth the wait. I think that they are spectacular!

Meadow Brook Mansion Wedding Event Show

The setting of the event is held in the backyard of Meadow Brook Mansion. Picture this…Guests arrive at the front entrance of the Mansion by a circle shaped driveway. Greeted by complimentary Valet Parking provided exclusively though Whimsical Occasions. After entering inside the Mansion and seeing the interiors of the house. With elaborately detailed including carved wood and stone, handmade hardware and ceramic art tile, ornately molded and carved plaster ceilings, stained glass window insets, crystal and art glass lighting fixtures, and gold-plated bathroom fittings. Guest check in at the registration desk, and then are escorted though double French doors out into the backyard of the Mansion. Down a cobblestone walkway, overlooking the backyard (as well as the golf course) there are models showcasing exquisite ornate gowns, holding parasols along gentleman in striking tuxedos. Later down the path there are also theme tables on display showcasing linens, flowers, centerpieces, desserts, favors, stationary, gifts (let me just say WOW!) . After a relaxed stroll guests enter into a wedding wonderland, a white tent filled with vendors to meet, music to listen to, fashions to view, samples to eat, more theme tables to take in and much, much, much, much more. This is an outdoor show that you do not want to miss!

Special thanks to Melisa Patterson who photographed the Wedding Event Show at The Polo Fields Golf & Country Club on Sunday, October 12, 2008. It was a warm and gorgeous day for a Wedding Event Show at the club. Guests were able to enjoy strolling hors d'oeuvres compliments of Peggy Bitondo of the Polo Fields. The weather was so nice that guests were able to walk onto the outdoor patios to view spectacular table-top designs right off the golf course. Some vendors like Majestic Limo and Entertainment Express even took their booths right outside for full tours of their limos and party buses. Additional thanks, also goes to Kim Darling of Darling Brides and her staff for a wonderful fashion show filled with outstanding bridal gowns as well as tuxedos.
